AGL Internet AGL Internet plans are now able to be bundled with AGL gas and electricity plans. Sign up for an AGL NBN plan and get a $15 discount on your broadband bill when you bundle energy and broadband with AGL.

AGL Super Saver
The AGL Super Saver is a 12-month fixed-rate plan with no exit fees. This means you will receive the same energy rates all year and are free to cancel your AGL subscription at any time without penalty.
This is a great option if you like receiving your bills online, as this plan is only available with e-billing. If you prefer physical bills, this plan may not be for you. The AGL Super Saver is available in NSW, SA, QLD & VIC.
AGL Flexible Saver
The AGL Flxible saver is a variable rate tariff that has no exit fees and is automatically renewed. You can receive paper bills with this tariff, but as this is a variable tariff, the rates fluctuate with the wholesale energy market. This means your bills will go up and down as the price of energy changes.
In general variable rates tend to be a little more expensive than fixed rates such as the AGL Super Saver. The AGL Flexible Saver is available in NSW, SA, QLD & VIC.
AGL Solar Savers
This tariff is a Feed-in Tariff for people with solar panels. If you are interested in learning more about this tariff, skip ahead to our section on AGL Solar. The AGL Solar Savers tariff is available in NSW, QLD & SA.
AGL Value Saver
The AGL Value Saver is a variable tariff with no exit fees and is only available in Victoria. As this is a variable rate tariff, the contract is automatically renewed but you are free to leave your AGL subscription at any time without penalty.
The big difference between this plan and the flexible saver is that the AGL Value Saver only allows e-billing, therefore you cannot receive paper bills with this tariff.
AGL Seniors Plan
The AGL Senior Savers plan is a replacement of their previous senior plan and is a major improvement. The AGL Senior Savers plan is a 12-month fixed-rate tariff for concession cardholders in NSW, QLD, VIC & SA.
This plan is similar to an AGL concession and it allows for free paper bills and offers a sign-up credit with different values depending on where you live. There are also no exit fees and no minimum contract length if you decide to cancel your AGL subscription.
AGL Electric Vehicle Plan
The AGL Electric Vehicle Plan is a fixed-rate plan for 12 months for owners of electric vehicles or members of an AGL EV subscription who want to charge their cars at home. The plan comes with 100% e-billing (meaning no paper bills) and can earn you up to $240 in AGL loyalty bonuses per year.
Default Market Offer or Standing Offer
Every energy supplier offers the default market offer, which is the reference price set by the Australian government and is the maximum price you are allowed to be charged for your energy.

AGL Solar
AGL Energy also has separate solar energy tariffs available for new and existing customers. If you are looking to get started with solar, AGL can help set you up with your own solar PV system installation (with a battery and an AGL smart meter) through one of their third-party suppliers.
AGL offers several solar tariffs with feed-in tariffs available in NSW, QLD, VIC & SA. However, AGL's best rates are reserved for customers who purchase one of their solar packages.
If you already have solar panels on your roof and would like to switch to AGL solar, you can register with the AGL Solar Savers plan which offers 12c / kwh for export. Below we cover this in greater detail.

AGL Solar Feed-in-Tariff
One of the advantages of AGL is that they have two solar feed-in-tariffs (FiT).
The AGL Basic FiT is available for all customers no matter which AGL electricity plan you choose. However, the AGL Solar Savers FiT which offers more $ / Kwh is only available with the AGL Solar Savers plan.
AGL Solar Savers is AGL's highest paying feed-in tariff and is available to customers with existing solar PV systems.
While AGL Solar Savers does not come with a discount off the reference price, you will earn more money for the excess electricity you send back to the grid. Therefore, It's important to remember that your estimated annual cost does not include any solar FiT money you might receive from exporting through this AGL electricity plan.

AGL Chat

AGL My Account Online
