Overview of TPG & TPG Network Coverage

TPG is a publicly-traded Australian telecommunications company, and one of the largest internet service providers and mobile virtual network operators in the country. TPG was first founded in 1986 under the name Total Peripherals Group. In 2009, Total Peripherals Group changed its name to TPG. In 2015, TPG acquired iiNet for $1.56 billion. 

TPG network coverage is provided by Vodafone which covers 96% of the Australian population. Most coverage is centred around the major cities and outlying regions of Australia. Through Vodafone, coverage is expected to expand within the next three months, particularly in urban areas where 4G coverage is spotty.

TPG NBN Plans

TPG NBN plans are available with either a 6-month contract (and $0 set up fee) or on a month-to-month no lock-in contract (with a $99.95 set up fee). All TPG plans come with a TPG NBN modem and include a phone line with pay-as-you-go calling.

Once you choose your TPG NBN plan, you can also choose to add a Voice Add-on for your home phone. You can choose a pay-as-you-go home phone plan, for $0 per month, or one of TPG’s national or international phone plans.

TPG Broadband Plans: FTTB Plans

TPG FTTB plans give customers the ability to choose the perfect broadband plan with unlimited data and phone options. Choose between Standard Speed (to to 12Mbps download speeds) or Superfast Speed (90Mbps typical evening speeds), whether you want an 18-month contract (for a $0 set up fee) or a month-to-month no lock-in contract ($99.95 set up fee) and what type of voice add-on you want. All TPG FTTB plans come with an included broadband modem.
