AGL Modem
With AGL NBN, you can either bring your own modem (BYO modem) or purchase one through AGL.
Your AGL modem choices are:
- BYO (NBN-enabled) modem for $0 upfront
- Get an AGL modem for $0/month if you stay with AGL NBN for 12 months ($210 RRP)
If you want a home phone with your AGL internet plan, you will need an NBN modem from AGL. If you decide to get an AGL modem and cancel your NBN plan before 12 months, you will need to pay off the remaining cost of the modem ($12.50 x months left).
AGL Internet Plans & Home Phone VoIP
If you want a home phone (VoIP) with your AGL internet plan, you can add one for an additional $10 per month.
It’s important to remember that if you want VoIP with your AGL NBN plan, you will need an AGL modem and your own compatible VoIP handset. VoIP with AGL NBN is not available for all connections.
AGL home phone plan is only available to new AGL internet customers. You will not be able to sign up for VoIP with an AGL internet plan at a later date.
