How To Sign Up for My AGL?

It only takes 5 minutes to sign up online with AGL. If you are a new customer or looking to switch to AGL at your new address, it couldn't be easier. Please contact AGL at 131 245 or call Selectra to discuss options for AGL energy plans.

If you provided your email address when you signed up for AGL Energy, you are likely already registered for a My AGL Account. If you are not sure if you are already registered for My AGL, you can easily check the status of your My AGL Account. All you have to do is click 'Forgot your email address' on the Login screen and follow the instructions. If you face any problems with logging into your account, please contact AGL. If that doesn't work, get in touch with AGL customer service.

Existing AGL customers who are not yet registered for a My AGL Account can easily sign up online in just a few minutes. All you need to sign up is the following:

  • Your e-mail address
  • Driver's license
  • Passport, or Medicare card

Once you have everything ready, you can register for AGL Online. After you submit the registration form, you will receive an email from AGL with a temporary password that you can use to log in. After logging in for the first time, it's a good idea to change your temporary password to one that is easier for you to remember. The initial temporary password will only work for 24 hours. After this time, you will need to register again if you did not log in.

If you have an account with two or more account holders, please note that you will only be able to register the account under one email address. You will later be able to change the email address associated with your account by editing your profile settings online in My AGL.

Log in to My AGL Account

To sign in to your AGL login account, simply head to the AGL login page and write the email address and the password that you used to register for the online account.

Once on the AGL log-in page, enter either your email address or username along with your password. That's it! You will now be inside your AGL login account and should have access to your dashboard, where you can find all the key information about your account, such as usage, payments and meter readings.

What if I've Forgotten My AGL Login Password?

If you forget your AGL account password, then you can easily create a new one via the AGL login page. All you have to do is click ‘forgot your email address?’. AGL will then send you a one-time code that is valid for a period of only five minutes. You can then head back and log in with the code. Once you are inside your account, you can create a new, secure password.

Why Can’t I Register for My AGL Account?

There are a few unique circumstances in which you might not have access to your My AGL Account. These include having:

  • life support equipment registered to your AGL account
  • a commercial and an industrial business account
  • a bulk hot water account

What if I Can’t Log In with My Mobile Number?

If you would like to log in with your mobile number, you can change your account details in My AGL or in the AGL mobile app. All you have to do is go into your account settings and verify your phone number. You will then be able to log in with your mobile number and account password.

What do I do if I Cannot see Anything in My AGL Account?

If you recently signed up for AGL gas or electricity, it may take up to three months for your account to register for the new service. Until your account is fully transferred, there will be no data in your AGL account. But don't worry, when the process is complete, AGL will inform you so that you can log in to access your information.

Is There an AGL Login for Business Accounts?

AGL Business customers have their very own online login platform. AGL Business login is simple, free, and made specifically designed to cater to the needs of large businesses. Whether you are managing one or a hundred different sites, with My AGL business, you can track your usage, pay your bills and stay up to date on all your energy needs. With AGL business online, you can do all the following:

  • Flexible payment options
  • Track your energy usage
  • Detailed billing reports
  • Update your account information
  • Sign up for AGL rewards
  • Submit metre readings
  • Pay your bills

To register for AGL online business account, you can either email [email protected] or call 1300 793 477. If you already have a business account with AGL and are looking to log in, there is an entirely separate platform at AGL Business login.

AGL Internet You can now bundle AGL Internet plans with AGL electricity and gas plans. Sign up for an AGL NBN plan and get a $15 discount on your broadband bill when you bundle energy and broadband with AGL.

AGL Payments Online

With your AGL login account, you can easily pay your bills online and manage all your energy payments. You can easily head to agl.com.au/myaccount or open up the AGL mobile app to make a payment with a saved payment method. With My AGL, you will also be able to schedule your AGL bill payments, set up smooth billing, request payment extensions and sign up for a payment plan that best suit your financial needs.

The AGL mobile app makes managing your energy accounts a lot easier. The AGL mobile app is available for all customers to use. Customers can use their same AGL online account details to log in to the app.

With the mobile application, AGL customers can conveniently manage their accounts whenever they want. By logging into the AGL app, you will have access to the following features:

  • Track your energy usage: see all information about your energy usage and how much is it costing to you.
  • Get the most out of your smart meter: Access detailed information about weekly, daily or even hourly usage and get bill projections.
