TPG Mobile Phone and Internet Bundles

NBN provider, TPG, helps customers save up to $5 a month when they sign up for NBN and add a mobile phone plan to their account. In order to bundle your TPG NBN plan with a mobile phone plan you need to follow five steps:

1. Sign up to any TPG NBN plan
2. Activate your TPG broadband
3. Go to the TPG Mobile page and selecting “existing customer”
4. Enter your TPG username and password
5. Sign up for any eligible TPG mobile phone plan (50GB and above)

Customers can sign up for a TPG NBN plan with either a 6-month contract or no lock-in contract, and either BYO modem or purchase one through TPG. If you select a 6-month contract, your modem and activation is free, however choosing a no lock-in contract means you can either pay $0 and bring your own modem or pay $114.95 upfront for their included modem.

Once you’ve signed up and activated your TPG NBN plan, you will need to sign up for an eligible TPG mobile plan in order to access their bundle discount. Eligible mobile plans start at $35 per month ($30 per month with a bundle) and all come with unlimited standard national talk and text.

Vodafone Mobile Phone and Internet Bundles

Vodafone offers bundled home broadband and mobile phone plans with discounts of up to %20 per month off your NBN service with a mobile plan. Vodafone NBN customers can either choose to bring their own modem, or get one with 5G back-up from Vodafone for $0 when you stay for 24 months (max. modem cost $180).

In order to bundle your Vodafone NBN plan, you need to choose one of Vodafone’s SIM-only mobile phone plans. Vodafone mobile plans start at $49 per month, and all plans come with no lock-in contract, standard national talk and text, and infinite data at reduced speeds with no excess data charges, if you use up your data allowance before the end of the month.

Should I Bundle My Mobile Phone and Internet?

To some, it makes sense to bundle your mobile phone and internet plans under one provider. Usually, you could not only save money but save yourself time with the convenience of having both contracts with one telco.
