Origin Energy solar feed-in-tariff rates
If you have residential solar energy on your property, you might be interested to know Origin Energy’s solar feed-in-tariff rates. Origin Energy offers solar feed-in-tariff options to its customers, which vary depending on the state you live in and depend on what Origin Energy electricity plan you choose.
Regular solar feed-in-tariff: Origin Energy’s minimum solar FiT, which is available on every electricity plan they offer. If you have a smaller solar energy system (under 5kW), or use most of your energy during the day, you’ll probably be better off choosing one of Origin Energy’s electricity plans, and opting for the lower solar feed-in-tariff.
Solar Boost feed-in-tariff: If you have a larger solar PV system (over 5kW) and don’t use most of your energy during the day, thus exporting more to the grid, you might be better off choosing Origin Energy Solar Boost. With Solar Boost, you don’t get additional discounts, but you do get a higher solar FiT for the energy you generate.
Solar Boost Plus feed-in-tariff: Solar Boost Plus offers Origin Energy’s biggest solar feed-in-tariff, but with some conditions. Customers can only get Origin Energy Solar Boost Plus if they purchase a new solar PV system directly from Origin First.
