Sumo also offers VoIP home phone plans as a special add-on with your NBN plan. VoIP stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol, and allows you to connect a home phone, that can make and receive calls, through your NBN connection. This optional VoIP plan is a great choice if you want a home phone that you can use to easily make local and national calls. If you want to add the option for a Sumo VoIP home phone plan, then this will cost an additional $15.00 for each Sumo internet plan.
What Modem Does Sumo Offer?
With Sumo NBN, you can either bring your own modem (BYO modem) or purchase one through Sumo.
Your Sumo modem choices are:

- Get an Sumo modem for $0/month if you stay with Sumo NBN for 24 months

Unlike other energy companies, Sumo does not offer an online account management platform, meaning if you want to update your plan, account details, or payment information you need to contact Sumo customer service directly. In addition, you can submit an “Update my account details” request for a callback from Sumo customer service for any changes you might need to make to your account.

Cancel Your Sumo Internet Plan
If you would like to cancel your Sumo internet plan, you can easily get in touch with Sumo customer service. All you have to do is call them at 13 88 60 and provide them with your account number and state that you wish to cancel your service. Please note that Sumo will not refund you if your account is closed in the middle of your monthly plan period.
