What we like about SpinTel

SpinTel is really good at offering high value at a low price. SpinTel has a plethora of plans to choose from and they continually rank among the cheapest in Australia. SpinTel runs on the Optus network which is widely available across Australia and has good stability and high speeds even during peak hours.

We also like that, unlike some other telecom providers, SpinTel offers both internet and phone services. This is great if you want to save the headache of having to deal with multiple companies. You can get a home phone line, internet connection, and mobile phone plan all through SpinTel.

Another very impressive point to note about SpinTel is that they are consistently awarded prizes for being an amazing internet and phone provider. They have won so many awards that they have an entire page on their website dedicated to the list of awards they have won since 2007.

SpinTel Sign-up & Account Management

You can sign up for a SpinTel plan online or over the phone. SpinTel will prompt you to check your address to see what broadband services are available in your area.

When signing up, you will need to provide one of the following to allow SpinTel to do a credit assessment:

Cancelling Your SpinTel Service

To cancel your SpinTel account, you’ll need to call SpinTel customer service at 13 22 10 with at least two weeks' notice to avoid being charged your next billing cycle.

If you choose to cancel a contract before the end of the term you will be charged an early termination fee and any additional promotions you might have received.

Moving House With SpinTel Broadband

If you're moving house and want to keep your SpinTel service, you can contact SpinTel’s moving team by calling 1300 551 442 or through email, available Monday to Friday 9 am to 7 pm.

The time it takes to relocate a service depends on what service you have. An active home phone can take between 1-3 days, while NBN can take between 5 and 20 days so it’s best to plan to move your services as early as possible to ensure a seamless transition.

If you are moving to a location that does not support your current plan, you may need to change your plan. If you need to cancel your current plan, you might incur an early termination fee.
