Who is Selectra?

Selectra was created in 2007 by founders Aurian de Maupeou and Xavier Pinon with the initial aim of helping French customers save on their electricity and gas bills following the deregulation of the French gas and electricity markets. Selectra since expanded, and is now in more than 16 countries. Selectra Australia first opened in 2019 to help Australians sign up for home energy and broadband deals. Getting clear information about deals on broadband, tv, and home energy can be confusing and comparing offers can often be time-consuming. Selectra strives to provide a one-stop solution for people interested in signing up for a different and cheaper energy or broadband provider. We believe that looking for a cheaper deal shouldn’t be a challenge, and therefore aim to make the process as easy as possible by saving people time and money. We aim to offer customised quotes from partners, offer clear information about the energy and broadband products we compare, and work closely with our partnerships in order to ensure great service to you, the customer.

Is Selectra’s Service Free to Use?

Selectra’s Service is free to use for customers because we receive a commission from our affiliates and partner providers for connecting them with new customers.

This does NOT affect the price for the customer. Customers can visit the Selectra AU website and call our Energy and Broadband teams or affiliate partnerships without charge. Any commission we receive does not influence the recommendations Selectra provides its customers. We strive to ensure all customers have a positive experience and are satisfied with the service they receive.

Does Selectra Work with All Providers & Retailers on the Market?

Selectra does not work with all providers and retailers on the market. Instead, we offer a selection of products and providers carefully chosen based on criteria including; customer service, value for money, and renewable initiatives & green energy.
