How do I Upgrade a Telstra Mobile Phone?
Once you’ve paid off your current Telstra phone, you’re eligible to upgrade to a new Telstra mobile phone.
To upgrade your Telstra mobile phone, you need to follow three steps:
- Choose a new phone from the Telstra phone range
- Select an upfront mobile plan after choosing your new handset
- Sign in to your Telstra ID during checkout
If you’re already on a Telstra upfront mobile plan, the plan you chose in step 2 will be automatically removed during checkout. If choosing to upgrade your Telstra phone with a phone repayment plan, you will need to reconfirm your ID; employment, and income.
Can I Upgrade my Telstra Phone on a Contract?
While technically you can upgrade your Telstra phone on a plan at any time, you will need to pay off your device before being eligible for an upgrade. This can either be done by waiting out your device repayment period or paying off the remainder.
