More Recharge & Activate

You can easily recharge your mobile plan online through your More Telecom login account. Simply click the link for your More Telecom online account. You can recharge your current mobile plan for $12.50, giving you an extra 3GB of data. You can add this data add-on to your plan as a one-time purchase or set it to recur automatically until you decide to cancel. If you choose the recurring option, it will renew up to 5 times per billing cycle whenever you run out of data. Any unused data from the add-on will expire at the end of each billing period.

In terms of activation, once you receive your More Telecom SIM card (generally in 1-2 business days) you will need to activate your mobile phone plan online. When activating your More mobile phone plan, you will need a valid form of identification. According to Australian law, an identity check is required of all mobile phone operators. When you activate your SIM card, you’ll be able to set up your More Telecom account and payment details.

If you're moving your current mobile number, make sure to keep your old SIM card in your phone. More Telecom will need to send you a verification PIN before activating your new SIM card. After your new SIM card is activated (when your phone shows SOS mode), you can switch SIM cards.

• Once logged in, select "Cancel NBN Service" from the menu
• Fill out the form with details like the address of the NBN Service to cancel, reason for cancelling, and the desired cancellation date
• Read and agree to the terms
• Click on Submit

Once you click submit, your cancellation request will then be sent to the More Telecom team. Depending on your preferred cancellation date or if you need it done immediately, it may take 24 to 48 hours to complete. I stayed with this company for about one year. In general it's OK. Recently I found a better deal and cancelled the service one day before the day I was billed. However, the next day they still charged me. I contacted the customer service and they couldn't refund me. Their explanation is the billing cycle start date is 15 days earlier than the payment day for this 'prepaid' service. And the company's policy is that there is no full or partial refund if you cancel the service earlier. My understanding is that for 'prepaid' plan, the service starts on the day I pay. Apparently this is not what they think and do. I thought this is dodgy when a customer leaves and they charge you for another month. I'll stay away with this company.
