If you want to include a phone service with Flip, they offer three plans.

It should be noted that, unlike other NBN providers, Flip’s most basic phone plan with pay-as-you-go calls does include an additional monthly cost. In addition, none of the available Flip phone and NBN bundles includes international calling.

Flip Phone Plans

Flip has three mobile phone plans available on a month-to-month basis, you can choose whether you want prepaid or postpaid during sign up.

Mobile plans start at $19.90 per month for 6GB of data, but all mobile plans come with a $10 discount for the first six months for new customers. Plans come with unlimited standard talk and text to all AU numbers, including mobiles, landlines, and 13/1300 numbers though don't come with international call options.

Flip TV Plans

Flip isn’t just an NBN and mobile phone plan provider, it also offers TV and entertainment packages. Flip TV offers international channel packs either with the Flip app or with the Flip TV Set Top Box.

1. Get either the Flip Set Top Box for $79 + $20 delivery or choose to use the Flip app for free
2. Choose which international channel packs you want
3. Watch Free to Air TV, reply and rewind TV from the last 24-hours
4. Get additional apps, radio, news, and more through your Flip Set Top Box

Flip offers many different international channel packs starting at $9.95 per month, which include channels from the following countries and locations:

• Balkan channel packs including Serbian, Macedonian, and Bosnian TV
• Chilean & Spanish TV
• Portuguese TV
• Japanese TV
• Italian TV

• Flip Billing and Payment
• When you sign up for a Flip service, you will be required to set up a direct debit payment with a valid Visa or Mastercard. Once you’ve signed up with your Flip service, be it NBN, mobile, or Flip TV, you’ll be able to update your payment details through your Flip My Account.

Is Flip worth it?

Depending on what you’re looking for, Flip can be a great choice for an ISP and mobile provider.

With their competitively priced NBN plans, especially if you bring your own modem, you really can’t get much cheaper month-to-month options.

However, they don’t have the widest selection of mobile phone plans, and you can probably find cheaper mobile options with better inclusions elsewhere.

As with anything, it’s best to do your own research and comparisons to find the best mobile phone plan or broadband offer but thanks to Flip’s no-contract options you can always sign up and leave at any time if you’re dissatisfied with your service.
