Signing up online is easy, but will require agreeing to a credit check, which includes giving your employment status and a valid driver's license. For NBN orders you will also need to supply a mobile phone number where you can be reached in case an appointment is required to connect you to NBN.
Moving house with Southern Phone is easy for both new and existing customers. New customers simply need to indicate on their online order that they need a connection at their new address. Existing Southern Phone customers looking to move home with their broadband or home phone service will need to fill out a relocation request form. There is a minimum relocation fee of $59, which may be more depending on what connection is already available at your new home.
