Activ8me offers two different types of NBN plans: fixed wireless and fibre. All of the fixed wireless plans come with the same speed tiers, but you can select the amount of data you want in your plan. With the fibre plans, you can customize your speed tier as well as the amount of data you would like to have. You can decide between a month to month contract or a 6 month contract, which allows you to get a discount on a wireless router. Activ8me NBN Fixed Wireless Plans

Activ8me provides NBN Fixed Wireless internet, which utilizes data transmitted via radio signals from a transmission tower to an NBN outdoor antenna connected to an indoor NBN connection box. If the necessary equipment is not already installed, Activ8me can arrange for an approved NBN installer to complete a standard installation free-of-charge at your premises.

With Activ8me fixed wireless plans, you can experience the best speed available at their location and at the time of use, which can vary due to factors such as environmental conditions (e.g., distance and line of sight to the tower), equipment (hardware and software), settings and positioning of in-home Wi-Fi modems, network congestion, time of use, and the number of devices simultaneously using the service. Activ8me assists customers in measuring their speeds once the service has been connected at their address, to ensure their internet is working as well as it possibly can.

OptiComm is among Australia's largest privately-owned alternatives to the national broadband network (NBN). As an ASX-listed company, OptiComm constructs, operates, and maintains its own telecommunications fixed-line fiber-optic network, akin to NBN Co. OptiComm operates as a wholesale provider, selling its plans to OptiComm providers such as Activ8me, who in turn offer retail OptiComm services to customers. To get an OptiComm broadband connection, you must already have an OptiComm Connection Box. Activ8me Sky Muster Plans

Sky Muster was created by NBN Co Limited in order to provide plans to regional, rural locations and businesses in Australia. This service involves fixed satellites above Australia that enable the NBN to send broadband signals to Australians living in remote areas, providing them with a steady internet connection. These signals travel between a satellite dish at your location and the NBN satellite base station.

Activ8me offers 3 different Sky Muster plans with different specifications:

  • Sky Muster Plans: All data use is unmetered
  • Sky Muster Plus Plans: Only video streaming and VPN traffic from 4pm until midnight counts towards your data allowance
  • Sky Muster Plus Premium Plans: All data usage counts towards your data allowance

Once your order is placed, Activ8me arranges for an NBN technician to make contact to arrange the installation time and date. The Sky Muster plans are only offered on a month to month contract with no lock-in contract and no termination fees.

Activ8me Complaints

If you have an issue or problem to report with your Activ8me product or plan, you can easily get in touch with Activ8me customer service by calling 1300 222 825. You can also submit a formal request by filling out the online complaint form on their website. The form will ask for your name, customer number, phone, email address, the type of complaint and require that you describe your issue. Activ8me aims to get back to customers who fill out this form within 2 business days.

If you send an email or a letter by post, Activ8me will aim to provide you with a verbal or written response within 2 working days of receiving the complaint.

After they acknowledge your request, Activ8me will perform the initial investigation of your case. They aim to provide a resolution to your complaint within 15 working days of receipt. Once you confirm that you are satisfied with the proposed resolution, they aim to implement such changes within 10 working days.
