Flow Power

Flow Power is an Australian electricity retailer headquartered in Hawthorn, Melbourne. It built its name supplying commercial and industrial customers with wholesale-linked pricing and renewable energy power purchase agreements, and now offers variable-price plans to homes as well.

Flow Power supplies electricity in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland, the four states it has rolled its residential offer into. It is not available in Western Australia, the ACT, the Northern Territory or Tasmania.

Instead of a single flat usage rate, Flow Power passes through movements in the wholesale electricity market. Prices are lower when demand is low and renewable generation is high, and higher at peak times. It rewards households that can shift usage, but it also means your rate is not fixed. Always read the plan's pricing document before signing up.

Yes. Flow Power states that all of its plans are 100% GreenPower accredited, meaning your annual electricity usage is matched by accredited renewable generation added to the grid.

Yes. Flow Power lists both single-rate and time-of-use plans for home and business, including options with a controlled load for electric hot water or pool pumps. Each plan's price breakdown shows the per-network detail.
