Who to call

Energex or your retailer?

Ringing the wrong one is the most common mistake. Here is the split.

Call Energex for

Power outages and blackouts, fallen or sparking powerlines, network faults, new connections, supply upgrades and meter issues. Faults line: 13 62 62.

Call your retailer for

Bills, payments and hardship help, plan and tariff changes, concessions and rebates, and moving home. Not sure who is cheapest? Compare retailers.

In an emergency. If a powerline is down, you see sparking, or anyone is in danger, call 000 immediately and stay at least 8 metres clear. Then report the fault to Energex on 13 62 62.
